GREAT TO DEAL WITH - FROM START TO FINISH

Located in the heart of Ōtautahi Christchurch, Lisa's two-bedroom home was built in the 1950s. Its exterior walls, a classic blend of plaster over brick, are typical of many of that era, with little to no insulation.

When Lisa purchased her home, the financial advisor she consulted also suggested looking into wall insulation, given the age of her property. It was great advice that has meant she’s now enjoying a warm and cosy home.

“He suggested Insulmax® as the best product and as a great company to deal with,” says Lisa “I’d also spoken to Insulmax® at the Canterbury Home Show, so I was familiar with the product and knew it ticked the boxes for being environmentally friendly, easy to install, and very effective. And of course, I researched the product online and found lots of helpful information about the product and the process on the Insulmax® website.

Clear communication

When you’re investing in a significant upgrade to your home, it’s important to feel comfortable with the team who are doing the job. If you’ve got questions, you want them answered fully and clearly. And that’s where Insulmax® really excels.

“I really appreciated how professional and approachable the Insulmax® team members were when I spoke to them at the show. They took the time to answer all my questions without being pushy,” she says.

“From start to finish, they were friendly and easy to talk to. They communicated at every step to make sure I understood the process and that there were no surprises. For example, the cladding on my house is textured. Before the installation, they got in touch to let me know the filler might not exactly match wanted to see if I was ok with that. I appreciated them anticipating any possible concerns and checking in beforehand.

“They did a great job matching it however, I’m really pleased with the result.”

Quick and easy

Lisa says the process of having her home insulated was straightforward and easy from start to finish.

“The Insulmax® technician who came out to inspect the house and provide a quote was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly kind. There was no rush or technical jargon – she clearly explained the process in a way that made total sense,” says Lisa.

The installation day itself was a breeze. “Everything went just as expected. The technician was lovely to deal with. It really couldn’t have been easier.”

Financial flexibility

Before her installation, Lisa contacted Insulmax® about possible finance options. “Laura from Insulmax® helped find a solution that worked well for me. It’s worthwhile to look into even if you don’t think you can currently afford it.

“The team supported me in the process and helped me get my finances sorted so that I was able to get my house insulated much sooner than I thought possible.”

Now enjoying her warmer, quieter home, Lisa encourages anyone wanting to do the same should get in contact with their local Insulmax® team.

“I’m so grateful I didn’t have to find out what a winter in my home would have been like without insulation!”
