Snug ‘70s Home Ready for Southland Winters

After eight winters in their 1970s Invercargill family home, Cameron and Jill decided enough was enough. The cold Southland nights were taking their toll, especially in their young daughters’ rooms.

“It gets pretty cold down here!” Cameron says. “And with the girls’ rooms facing south, their rooms were very chilly in winter.”

“It’s fantastic,” Cameron says. “The house doesn’t take as much to heat anymore, and even in the middle of the night, you can feel it’s a lot warmer. It’s made such a big difference for us.”
